Man On Bridge is an interactive documentary about Arthur Fields, a street photographer who captured an estimated 182,500 photos of passersby on O'Connell Bridge. We are producing a web-based documentary that lets people learn about Arthur and allows them to submit their own Arthur Fields photo or Arthur Fields-inspired photo into the online story of the photographer.
“What makes Ireland great, makes Ireland great for business,” according to IDA Ireland's new advertising campaign for inward investment.
The 60-second advertisement, targeted at “C-suite executives” (chief executives, chief financial offers, chief operations officers) in North America, demonstrates how Irish culture and heritage have had a positive effect on Ireland’s corporate environment, using well known traditional ideas to draw attention to the newer aspects of the country that foreign direct investors will find attractive.
Created by Publicis Dublin, the ad is curerently running on US business channels Bloomberg and CNBC, complemented by an “extensive presence on digital platforms”, again targeting executive audiences.
Directed by Steve Greene and Produced by Andy Bradford for Sweet Media, the spot was created by Publicis QMP, where Ronan Nulty was the creative Director, Niamh Skelly Produced and Avril Durkan handled Art Direction.
Full post production on the spot took place here at Screen Scene, where it was edited by Jake Walshe and Coloured by Gary Curran, with Allen Sillery and Gavin Casey working their magic on Flame, and Michael McCarthy providing the 3D.

Libraries have always been places where ideas are shared and disseminated and as such South Dublin Libraries have been following TED discussions for some time. TED is a non-profit programme devoted to Technology, Entertainment and Design. TEDx licenses are granted to local groups and South Dublin Libraries are delighted to get one of these licenses for a fourth year . TEDxTallaght 2013 is themed The Atelier of Ideas.
Ateliers have their origin in medieval times and became places where master artists and crafts people shared skills and encouraged creative experimentation with their students. Now imagine a 21st century atelier where ideas are sparked and innovation is nurtured - an Atelier of Ideas - that's what TEDx Tallaght 2013 aims to be this year. Bringing together inspired thinkers and curious souls this TEDx welcomes people from many disciplines who all want to achieve a deeper understanding of the world.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
