Hi all, this is my finished animation from my time at Bournemouth University studying MA3D Computer Animation. All work was done with Softimage comp done with Nuke, and textures from Photoshop with Premiere for the final edit. Enjoy!
Based loosely on the Victorian Urban Legend from London 1800s, Spring Heeled Jack was a bizarre phenomenom who was sighted leaping roof-to-roof across the city. Sightings continued through to present day across England.
Hi all, this is my current showreel, hastily knocked together over the weekend, with some past and current work. Constructive criticism is more than welcome. I did all of the 3D animation using Autodesk Softimage/XSI, some comp in Nuke, PS for textures and Premiere for editing.
I am currently studying MA3D Computer Animation (masters level) at Bournemouth University. Its a pretty intensive course, but i'm learning lots of stuff and enjoying it also.
Edit: The clips of the pirate animation at the beginning and end are from a short titled 'Treasure Hunt' created for our group project assignment at Bournemouth University. I felt it neccessary to credit my lovely team mates for making this happen:
Plamen Ananiev: Director/Character Designer/Animator/Compositor
April Howlett: Set building/Texture Artist/Compositor/Long-suffering render-wrangler (bless you)
Jaime Mauricio Nieto: 3D Modeller (Pirate)/Texture Artist/Animator/Compositor
James Kirkwood: Awesome Pirate Rigger/Animator/Compositor
