Up on Ester Dome. DJI Phantom and a 100mw 5.8Ghz FPV transmitter / receiver. Camera is GoPro HERO 3 with video out cable. Something is wrong with my setup—I think my props need to be re-balanced. I'm getting a lot of jello (the wind up there certainly didn't help!)
Footage from the last couple of months. Most of these shots were only minimally planned. I find that if I have my quad available to me when I'm driving to a hike, or on vacation, that I am looking all around me for good spots to fly - and good locations present themselves everywhere.
In many of these situations the quad would have been difficult or impossible to recover in the case of failure. I've had a significant number of flights (around 60) since the last crash (due to user error) - and I've had NO crashes due to mechanical or electrical issue from a total of ~80 flights; so I'm starting to trust the quad a lot!
