Colour Balancing & Colour Grading each clip in post!
I'm often asked what cameras & lenses I use to achieve such vibrant & movie like picture quality.
Whilst obviously good equipment does help I truly believe that the equipment is just a tool, the true art lies in the amount of extra hours that's dedicated in post to colour balance and colour grade each individual clip to create the final look in wedding movies.
Nargis from Azerbaijan and Christopher from Norway were married at the fabulous Palazzo Parisio on a typically Maltese hot & sunny June day. The service was done by the 'Grandmaster' and for me his charm & charisma complimented the splendid settings. The truly international guest list included family & friends from Ireland, Turkey, Germany, France, Armenia & Azerbaijan.
The lush gardens and soft pink lighting were the perfect backdrop for our newly weds to canoodle under, dine and dance to Azerbaijan traditional music plus live sounds from the excellent local brass band 'Versatile, whilst myself, Malcolm and George Scintilla the photographer for the day happily snapped and filmed away.
Quite simply this was a fantastic wedding for beautiful & friendly people from many different parts of the world!
Jenny & Chris's wedding was incredible. The ceremony was held at the quaint San Girgor Chapel in Zejtun. The lavish sit down meal was held in the Pheonicia Ballroom whilst welcome drinks during sunset were served outdoors in the Rotunda Garden.
From our initial meeting just over a year ago when we sat and they explained to me their wedding plan and what they were looking for in their wedding video I could tell that their likes & influences for art, design, elegance and music would play a huge role in their wedding plan.
Come their big day as soon as I met both Jenny and Chris you couldn't help but notice how super chilled both looked, come what may, sun, rain wind or whatever I really don’t think it would have mattered one little bit, as long as come 5pm they got married in front of their family & friends… as every wedding should be !
