1. In the interest of "when you are done with something, please remove it" this evening Lamont Granquist and I removed the pink training square from Cove 3 that we installed a while ago. It served its purpose, and i would like to thank the local community for letting us leave it for as long as we did.

This is partially because after reading Heather's posts about the dolphins that got caught in cave line down at their local training site, and partially due to the concern about harbor seal pups and lost fishing tackle. I concluded that it was not worth having a semi-permanent line in place. It would break my heart if something ever happened to a critter because of us. We thought about this when installing so placed it essentially at sediment level so that a curious pup wouldn't be able to play with it very readily, but at end of the day its not worth the risk.
