Our first project in our first year of college was to choose a scene from a selection offered to us and replace the sound by using only Foley.
We chose Delicatessen.
Ignore the awful sounding Cello, it was done on a violin and we could not find anyone who could play the violin, so we had to improvise and with the help from our lecturer who was brave enough to try, we got what we could.
Made in October 2012.
Political remix video for 29/01/2013
I was tasked to create a Political remix of an event to make a statement in under a minute and a half.
I chose to focus on the recent inauguration of Obama.
Edited in 3 hours.
This is a short video edited in the Jawa style of editing.
It was made in about 3 hours late at night just for fun.
I am currently studying editing at college and Jawa is a style we have seen and talked about but I have not yet had a chance to try out.
I do not own any rights to any of the footage or sounds/music in this video, it is purely for educational purposes and my own entertainment, please don't sue me George Lucas.
Made as part of my Editing Module.
The A-level Art class filmed this project and gave us over 80gb of footage that we were tasked with turning into a film to showcase the event and our own editing skills.
I had no prior knowledge of the event and when handed the tapes had to make sense of three weeks worth of randomly shot, unnamed footage, it was a difficult task but equally rewarding.
This film took 40 hours plus to organise and edit, made over 4 days, finally being completed on 30/05/2013
'Atlas' is a short film written and directed by Joshua Adams
'Atlas' follows a man in an unknown bathroom, trying to find out what is behind the curtain. Nothing is as it seems.
