A vague pastiche of Douglas Gordon's art installation "24 Hour Psycho" which is, obviously, a 24 hour long version of Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho". Made simply by dropping the original 24 frames per second rate to two frames per second. My take consist only of the infamous--now iconic--shower scene. Built around Philip Glass' piano solo "Metamorphosis" (parts 1-5) to add some variety and tension (I think it fits and matches quite nicely, retrospectively speaking, I must add...)

The exhibition "Communitas" by Aernout MIK is on view in the Stedelijk! This is the first comprehensive exhibition of Mik’s work in the Netherlands since 2000, showing Mik’s most important video installations from 1999 to 2013 and is situated in the monumental basement of the museum’s new building. The exhibition was rewarded five stars by three highly respected Dutch newspapers, in which it was described as: “Enchanting video art!” Come and see it soon!
