"EXOPHILIA" is my senior thesis film at NYU - the story of a socially awkward shut-in and a passive-aggressive alien set in the milieu of a convenience store.
Featuring a blend of old-school puppetry/CGI, inspired primarily by Japanese surreal/absurdist humor and shot on the IKONOSKOP A-CAM II - a unique Swedish RAW camera that emulates a 16mm look. Our creative team includes the likes of Tom Spina Studios (the Star Wars Volkswagen ad campaign) and puppeteer Adam Pagdon (Lazytown, Crank Yankers, Bunraku, Pee Wee Herman Broadway Show).
We will be shooting in less than four weeks (June 12th-19th) and we still need 7000$ - help us make this final push and be a part of EXOPHILIA!
Opening animation for Guy Moshe's film 'Bunraku', narrated by Mike Patton.
