The Vermont Tech Jam is an annual job fair and expo organized by Seven Days, the state's independent newsweekly, and the Vermont Technology Alliance, a tech-industry trade organization.
The 6th annual Tech Jam took place on Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27, at the Champlain Mill in Winooski. About 2000 job seekers, career changers, students, teachers and tech professionals attended.
The Tech Jam isn't just a job fair. It's also a showcase of homegrown creativity and innovation. Several Vermont makers and inventors staged demonstrations at the Jam.
