1. Uses Leap Motion, Grasshopper, Firefly's Leap Component, and the Crane components for grasshopper to navigate Rhino and virtually "cut" through your geometry the way a hot-wire cutter would physically. The hand movements are recorded and translated into motion paths for a robot arm to cut styrofoam into the shape you've defined with your hands. It allows designers to shape geometry in an intuitive and gestural way that is not mediated by 2D input devices.

  3. The Leap Motion Starter Kit is a helpful starting point for developers using the Leap Motion Controller. This toolkit enables developers to create their own behaviors and to specify how game objects interact with the Leap Motion Controller data. The scripts are written to be flexible to maximize functionality while creating a basic framework for how hands will interact with game objects.

Five example scenes are included. Each demonstrates the various core input functionality of the Leap Motion and how to utilize it within the Unity development environment. The provided examples are excellent starting points to build upon for your own game!

    Scenes included with the kit.
    1) Weapons manipulation with guns, grenades and sword swiping! Throw a grenade, fire a machine gun, slice a banner with your sword!
    2) Flying example with immersive cityscape environment. While flying, fire machine guns by using your index finger.
    3) Bowling physics simulation with rotational force based on your hand's spin. Strike!
    4) Driving simulation using Unity wheel physics. Your hands control the rotation of the car's steering wheel, throttle lever to control speed.
    5) Boxing ring punching bag with virtual gloves!

Using threejs I created a 3D scene and rendered four unique camera angles to reflect off of a plexi glass prism. It creates the illusion of a 3Dimensional volumetric display in it's most crude state. I also attached my Leap Motion to start controlling the globe with a simple point of the finger.

We were lucky enough to receive some Leap Motion (https://www.leapmotion.com) units. Naturally, the first thing we tried was integrating it with Google Street View using the same engine we used on Hyperlapse (http://hyperlapse.tllabs.io). The app is entirely written in Javascript using LeapJS (https://github.com/leapmotion/leapjs) and a hacked version of Hyperlapse.js (https://github.com/TeehanLax/Hyperlapse.js). Panoramic points are spidered out from a single latitude/longitude in all linked directions. The examples in this video had 300 panoramic points.
