Do you find it tough to get motivated to train in the winter? So does Jane, but she's got some insight that will hopefully help you. Always from the heart, Incredible Jane shares with us the ups and downs of her journey to compete in a triathlon in May, 2010.
I’ve been running pretty relaxed, pushing myself but not to the max. I needed to find out my max HR for @coachprs so he could help dial my marathon training. So I had to do a 1 mile run as fast as I could. For me to do this I needed to be in a safe area so I went to BONDTraining and had Jason right beside me. I was so nervous, as if it was race day. He coached me through it from beginning to end AND even had me do a full body workout for 45 mins afterwards! I had no idea that I would be able to run a mile as fast as I could continually. It was such an achievement, even something that some might consider not a very big deal, it was a massive deal to me. I was just beaming afterwards. Well, sweating too….
I could have pushed myself harder but I was listening to my body and going at the pace that I needed to.
After the workout I sent all my info to coach and he prepared the most amazing marathon training schedule I have ever seen and I’m sticking to it! Now I’m fully focused and ready to rock!
