1. Peshkar has been working with local authorities and government initiatives towards addressing issues of anti-social and illegal activities in young peoples lives. In the 2nd year of this project I was asked to lead a project in Holt - on the outskirts of Oldham - developing skills in film-making and digital creativity. This was one of the outcomes, a piece concerning a fictional crime and its implications.

  4. In 2009 I was approached by Peshkar Productions to join them in their future approach to theatre with particular reference to the development of digital performance and workshops.
Working with Jim Johnson from Peshkar we developed a series of community based workshops into 'Address of Choice' a digital installation theatre piece which celebrated the town of Oldham. Installed in a Victorian arcade by the admirable ADBlive the play was delivered in 3 'stages', each one a box of projection screens. The plot involved an alien who gathers information about the town she has crashlanded nearby. Using cameras, webcams, LED lights and lighting the performance lasted 20minutes. The audience was gathered on the spot - mostly from McDonalds - as an exercise in impromptu eventing. This component was compiled by members of Peshkar Youth who videoed coloured objects in Tommyfield market which I treated and composed in Premiere.
