1. The Bit Planner is a wall mounted time planner that we invented for our studio. It’s currently made entirely of Lego bricks, but if you take a photo of it with a smartphone all of the events and timings will be magically synchronised to an online, digital calendar. It makes the most of the tangibility of physical objects, and the ubiquity of digital platforms.

The Bit Planner was invented in 2012 in Vitamins, a design and invention studio founded by Adrian Westaway, Clara Gaggero and Duncan Fitzsimons. For more info visit bit-planner.com

The Bit Planner is an experiment, it is not a product and is not endorsed by LEGO in any way.

  2. Imagine an empty worrying Paris.
Imagine that human action is more harmful to our fragile planet.

First, "hypocentre" was a technical exercise for us. Then we decided to focus the film on the environmental side.
It's new for us, more specialists in the travel video, to try to do a short film.

All the technical side of this film is explained on our website (with english translator) here: menilmonde.com/projet-hypocentre/

  3. This clip from SAMSARA showing food production and consumption has been getting a lot of attention! Music by Lisa Gerrard and Marcello de Francisci. For full credits and more information on SAMSARA please visit barakasamsara.com.

We'd love for you to watch the whole film: SAMSARA is available on DVD and Blu-ray, as well as On Demand from Amazon, ITunes and Netflix and just recently made #1 on Cinefix's top 10 list of the most beautiful movies of all time (youtube.com/watch?v=kj73aDoeFdk).

A note from SAMSARA producer Mark Magidson:
"We are happy this clip has struck a chord with so many people, and we hope that the interest in this clip will lead viewers to see SAMSARA in its entirety. This clip represents only 6 minutes from a 100 minute long film, which was photographed in 25 countries and explores many other diverse aspects of the human experience. We would love for viewers to experience SAMSARA as a whole."
