Born in Colorado, moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2012 in search of adventure and new experiences. The dream of continuous powder days @ Mt Baker. Immediately fell in love with the mountain and its terrain. With a persistent need to follow snow I've found myself in log cabin 45mins from the base.
This was an amazing winter storm that brought us over 115 inches in 5 days. Enjoy the video!
As the St Patrick's weekend came to a close and the bulk of the crowds made their way back to civilization, the snow reports for Mt. Baker were lining up for a fairly impressive cycle. A cold rainy week in Bellingham meant that it was absolutely dumping up in the mountains, you could feel the excitement building!!
By Thursday morning, I found myself in the parking lot of Baker with a good 10-14 inches covering from the night before. Our storm total was at 36" for just under 24hours. Its been snowing roughly 12" a day for the past 10!!
This is primarily inbounds and sidecountry lines, shooting becomes a fast paced blur of powder-filled mayhem on days like these! Enjoy everybody :)
