This short film is about the world record attempt being made by Elliot Dale and Chris Walters to row across the Atlantic Ocean in under 55 days - a record that has stood for 117 years! They are doing this in partnership with Children's Hospice South West to help raise much needed funds for families whose children have life limiting illnesses.
Peggy Douglas talks about what is has been been like to work with Floating Lime media and how the films we have made for her have helped raise awareness of her charity and attract volunteers and raise donations.
On Friday 12 July 2013, Floating Lime Media joined in the Big Volunteer Day. We did not volunteer our muscle power, but our skill set (and kit bags) to film the event to help Plymouth Guild and the business employee volunteer team help promote corporate social responsibility to businesses in the Plymouth area. What a great (and hot day) it was. Well done to all 20 companies and 80 volunteers who managed to make such a huge difference in one single day from lots of little efforts combined.
