Formula SAE is a rapidly growing intercollegiate design competition that spans six continents with eight events and over 350 teams. It tasks students with a particularly grueling engineering challenge: conceive, design, fabricate, race, and even market to a panel of judges a Formula-style racecar.
We went to the New York Region SCCA Solo out at Nassau Coliseum this past weekend to get some practice driving our 2009 FSAE car and to capture some suspension force data. The New York Region SCCA treated us incredibly well... we simply can't thank them enough for such a great drive day!
Out at Formula SAE Michigan, this car placed 37th out of 123 teams that entered and won the Formula SAE Recognition of Accomplishment.
