    Business Intelligence (BI) software can improve workplace productivity enabling firms of all sizes to make informed decisions in real time. In 2012 $34B was spend on business analytics ranking very high within CIO's priorities.

    Jaspersoft provides a cloud-based Business Intelligence suite enabling better decision making through interactive, web-based reports, dashboards and analysis. Leveraging a commercial open source business model, Jaspersoft provides end to end BI capabilities on a pay-as-you-go model.

    On Sept 5th Jaspersoft announced that its BI suite is now available on Windows Azure - the first open source BI suite to be introduced on that platform. As of September 12th, Jasper's utility priced BI offering on AWS Marketplace added more than 500 customers.

    Pat Garrehy, CEO Rootstock Software. Pat brings over 30 years of software and manufacturing experience, and Rootstock is now the largest application running on the Force.com platform. Prior to Rootstock, Pat founded and sold Relevant Business Systems; a client-server ERP Software solution currently in use by companies such as Lockheed and Solectron. Pat is a recognized manufacturing visionary and entrepreneur with extensive experience building cloud-based applications. Rootstock’s Cloud ERP manufacturing and supply chain solutions serves customers throughout North America, Europe and Asia Pacific and runs exclusively on the salesforce.com Force.com platform.

    Lee Wylie, Executive in Residence, Maker Capital. Mr. Wylie has 35 years of accomplished leadership in information technology and manufacturing with General Motors, IBM and Gartner Group. As the Director of CIM at Gartner, he created the concept of ERP to describe the evolution of MRP into next generation business systems. He also served as Gartner’s CIO.

    Andrew Dailey is a Managing Director of MGI Research.
