This was a short exercise we did for cinematography class. Basically, we had one 400' roll of Kodak Vision 3 250D film to shoot. We didn't have a lot of time to work on preproduction/development, so there's not as much to it as there could be. Also, the goal was to tell a story with no sound. We've taken the liberty of adding a soundtrack though.
It was a rather fun project and the experience of shooting on film was really valuable. Also, working with the colorist/telecine operator at the lab was really a cool experience. I understand why film is getting replaced by digital, but there is still something magical about it. I hope everyone has the opportunity to shoot it at least once in their lifetime.
