This year marks the 15th anniversary of The Wilders, an acoustic quartet whose roots are in old time and bluegrass music, but whose sound delivers a more contemporary urgency. In this video performance from Illinois Public Media's Live and Local, Betse Ellis, Phil Wade, Ike Sheldon and Nate Gawron play their original tune “She Says I Say."

  5. Luke Winslow-King is a singer, guitarist, songwriter and composer inspired by New Orleans jazz, delta and country blues, gospel, ragtime, folk and classical music. Featured here is a Luke Winslow-King original tune called 'The Coming Tide'. NOTE: As you listen to this Live and Local performance, no need to check for sound problems, as Luke and Esther are singing through a mic and amp system chosen deliberately to recreate an old, "dirty" sound. Hope you enjoy it!
