After a full engine service including a rebuild of both fuel injectors X-Ray was lifted from the water on Fri the 11th of October 2013 for it's biennial 'below the waterline service'. The hull was pressure cleaned & acid washed and then primed, where required with Vinegard 88 primer prior to anti-fouling. 2 coats of Jotun Sea Guardian blue was applied by brush & roller. Due to wear & tear the Cutlass bearing was reconditioned. While the rudder & propeller were removed, both were stripped back to bare metal, primed and then anti-fouled. The upper hull and decking was waxed & machine buffed & all external timber work sanded back & re-varnished. The boat was returned to the water on Monday the 14th of October. Seadog Marine at RQYS carried out all mechanical work.
