This is the first of many initial studies towards a body of work I am currently working on, and while in it's present form it has little to do with the actual body of work it represents a tiny piece of the puzzle.
Yes, its live ammunition, the video is taken during training and in this form is not indicative of the whole session of training, the drills in their entirety or as a 'grade-able' effort on our part. It was raining spectacularly hard which is responsible for the constant tapping (of drops of water hitting the housing for the camera). In many ways it was simply a trial of using the goPro in this fashion and seeing what it would yield in terms of the project for "Amnesis".
If there were any doubts about us using live ammunition. Here are some new angles including the target. It was the calmest day at the range in months to the point 100+ meters away from the camera it could pick us up talking. While in many cases the drills may seem "the same" each is done twice.
Likewise, having come up in the "safety" considerations - these are professional shooters - practicing these drills with all safety precautions in place and with the skill to shoot what they intend to; hence my willingness to place an expensive camera down range.
