This is the critically acclaimed live action short film for the release of the video game 'Metro Last Light'. I edited this with director Jim Weedon, whilst working as Senior Editor at ichi, a creative agency based in Soho. I also did an extensive audio design on the whole piece that was refined by the audio guys at Unit Post. The film won a silver award for editing at the 2012 London International Advertising Awards.
This promo (NOTE - Work In Progress, Voice Over and Music is place-holder) was created in After Effects. All the character animation was done using DuIK Tools, which is an amazing script that brings the principles behind 3D rigging and Inverse Kinematics to After Effects, giving greater precision and faster, more lifelike animations.
The characters are created in Photoshop, with every limb, and body part on a separate layer, then the PS doc is imported into After Effects, and the process of rigging the 'skeleton' starts there. It's an amazing script, and so much fun to use!
