Here's the official video for Eisley's 'The Valley'.
Shot this on a 5d mkii on good old nikon primes. All hand held with no rig. Really run and gun on this one, only way to get it done with the time constraints but I liked where it went. Did all the animation in Lightwave.
Shot this in the band's home town of Tyler, TX. Really hot shoot, felt bad for the band but they were great. They did all of their costumes themselves, which I think were really well put together.
Thanks also to Equal Vision Records, great to work with.
Music video for 'Go', off of Bethesda's album 'The Reunion.'
I typically don't do performance videos, but this one I was very excited to film. It takes two forms of performance and interlaces them into a single presentation. The Irish Step Dancers choreographed their routine to the song with some small direction from me to help it tie into the edit and how I know the band performed the song. Really love what they came up with, I was impressed.
Tri-C students along with Miriam Bennett's direction then ran crew and set up the shoot off of some general lighting direction. The key of the concept being lighting the space so the camera's pov would have a feel similar to a performer being on stage.
Shot on a Canon 5D mark III.
Edited on FCPX (was prepared to find it difficult, ended up being the fastest music video edit I ever did).
Everyone really blew me away, the shoot went very smooth, it was a real joy being on set that night.
