A short film made for the HV20.com fortnightly competition October 2010.
This film was made on a very tight schedule, around two hours of shooting and a day and a half of editing. Shot on location in Hampshire and Croydon, it was a lot of fun to make, but the short time-frame definitely made for a challenging edit!
Filmed using a Canon 550d DSLR with kit 18-135mm lens, edited on premiere pro 2, music from iStock.
This is a short created using test footage I shot a while back on my 550D, this was some of the first footage I shot with the camera and was the first time trying out my shoulder rig.
Shot in Coombe Wood on the outskirts of London, the footage was really just having some fun and trying out a few things, but I have pulled together the shots to create a narrative of sorts. It could be the opening of a longer story.
Edited and graded in Premiere Pro, the audio is completely replaced using foley and sound effects from iStock and other sources, music is by Kevin MacLeod of incompetech.com.
