A performance-oriented, reflective tire that's fit for your race bike. Why choose utility over performance, or vice versa, when you can have both?
LIT designed the 360 Ultra-Reflective as the ultimate training tire for those of us who spend a fair amount of time in the saddle before and after work. With its 9mm wide reflective sidewall, it's just the tire for riding after dark and it greatly increases the likelihood that cars will see you in low light conditions. Unlike other reflective tires, the 360 Ultra-Reflective is visible from practically directly in front and nearly directly behind. It will dramatically increase your visibility from the perspective of an approaching car when you need it most.
Don't be fooled though, this isn't your grandpa's reflective tire. The 360 Ultra-Reflective is a performance-oriented training tire that weighs in at only 250 grams. LIT designed the tire with a fast-rolling rubber compound and a stout puncture protection layer. Measuring 700c x 28mm, LIT's 360 Tire grips well and soaks up road imperfections, making it a great choice for bumpy or wet pavement. Whether you're looking for a tire to keep you more visible in and around the city, or you're trying to maximize your mileage after dark, the LIT 360 Ultra-Reflective is an ideal choice.
The 360 Ultra-Reflective comes in 700c x 28mm (ISO 28-622) and has a claimed weight of 250 grams. Folding Bead. 127 TPI casing. Maximum inflation is 100 PSI/6.8 Bar.
The Continental Grand Prix 4000 S is Conti's most advanced racing clincher, with a truly unique blend of speed and durability. Thanks to a bevy of exclusive high tech materials, and years of testing and development, the GP 4000 manages to preserve its low rolling resistance and great handling while providing exceptional puncture protection and higher mileage performance than a typical race tire.
The Grand Prix 4000 S is essentially identical to the black version of the standard Grand Prix 4000 model. The "S" actually stands for "Schwartz," the German word for Black; both the black GP 4000 and this GP 4000 S model use Continental's top Black Chili rubber, an exclusive material which cannot be produced in colors.
What makes Black Chili unique is its ultra dense construction and high silica content, which deliver outstanding grip and blazing speeds. This cutting-edge compound is also optimized for reliability and longevity, making it a great choice when performance and durability are top priority.
Both the colored and the Black Chili versions of the GP4000 feature a Vectran puncture protection barrier. Originally developed by NASA in the construction of both space shuttles and suits, Continental has patented Vectran's use in bike tires, which allows their tires to remain extremely light, while offering tremendous puncture protection.
The Grand Prix 4000 S features three fabric plies for a total of 330 TPI, has a Kevlar folding bead, a max inflation pressure of 120 PSI and weighs 205g (700c x 23mm size). This version is available in 700c (622 ISO) and various widths.
With the Tangente Clincher Tire, Zipp has teamed up with Vittoria to produce a robust and amazingly aerodynamic racing clincher. Just like the tubular version, the Tangente Clincher Tire features ABLC dimples, which are specifically engineered to promote smooth airflow across the tire's surface—just like a golf ball. This technology has been commonplace on Zipp rims for years, and after 14 months and 2 trips to the wind tunnel, they've made it work on a tire as well.
The 290 TPI casing and "open tubular" construction offer the same supple ride quality as Vittoria's top-of-the-line tubulars. Due to the fact that the dimpled pattern resists cracking so well, they were able to use an exclusive extra-light rubber compound for lower rolling resistance and higher cornering grip in wet and dry conditions.
The Zipp Tangente Clincher is available in 700c x 21mm or 23mm (622-21/23 ISO). Folding bead. All Black. Claimed weight: 205g (700c x 23mm).
Note: This clincher tire is somewhat confusingly labeled as an "Open Tubular." It fits standard clincher rims.
Ideal for road racing, criterium, fast training and recreational riding, the Veloflex Corsa Clincher delivers outstanding grip and cornering stability thanks to a full diamond tread pattern plus a special road-holding rubber compound that together allow you to push to the extreme while cornering, without ever losing traction and control.
The 320 TPI corespun casing allows the lowest possible weight without compromising strength or comfort, while the Calicot puncture resistant layer keeps sharp objects out. Overall, this is one of the most responsive and comfortable tires available.
Stylish black sidewalls set it apart from the Master model and offer a more modern look. Handmade in Italy. 700c x 23mm or 25mm. 145 max PSI. Available in Black, Blue, Yellow or Red with Black sidewalls. 195 grams.
A direct update to Michelin's bestselling Pro3 Race tire, the Pro4 Service Course offers an excellent balance between performance and durability.
With the best features of the earlier tire, the Pro4 Service Course features 110 TPI casing and an updated tread profile and material for increased grip at all angles of lean compared to earlier models. The new material offers increased wear resistance, so you can ride a little farther.
Available in several 700c (622 ISO) sizes and many colors. Folding bead; actual weight 205g (700c x 23mm).
