We started construction on the Lantern House in Upstate New York's Hudson Valley in November/December of 2014...as you know this winter has been a cold one here in the Northeast... We've got an awesome team working on this project! These guys never seemed to get a break from the snow this winter, but never deterred...they're off and building!

Modern Residential Architecture: This one story “modern country house” is situated on top of a knoll and surrounded by 6 acres of dense woods. Sloping terrain allows for views of “the Gunks” mountain range and Mohonk Tower to the south as well as spectacular sunsets to the west. Our clients wanted a home that offered plenty of privacy but liked the idea of seeing the “lantern” glow of their house through the trees from the main road below.
