Dreams start somewhere right? As the ghosts that haunt us....... We invite you to join Haus Paradigm as we host our sixth annual Paraween. What's a Paraween, you ask? Its Halloween, done Paradigm style. Last year we dragged your human souls through the pits of hell as the gates opened to let the ancients of Maya and Ixtab steal your hearts. SO this year we figured we'd show you a different side. This year we take you on a journey of times past... a journey of mystery, drama, energy, scandals, taudry tales, love, loss, adrenaline rushes and beauty that comes from the preparation, minds and back rooms of a glamorous life onstage....but there's a twist...a haunted twist. Pull out your pearls, and Charleston shoes, long filter cigarettes, suits, feathers, fringe, and come haunt with us!

Marna Bunnell works both locally and internationally to initiate and produce cultural projects. Her print and graphic design installations are often community-based and examine social and political ideas of contemporary life. As interventions, her works question and negotiate points of intersection between power, role, the personal and the public, art and design, the handmade and the mass-produced. In her video works, drawings and prints, Bunnell takes inspiration from fairy tales, printed ephemeral, beauty products, needle work and textiles. Her recent works explore the historical, cultural and symbolic meanings associated with hair.
