This video is part of my master thesis collection. The project is an event center in Valencia inner harbour. The requested programme of uses include 10.000 m2 outdoors and 10.000 m2 indoors. Inside the builded body there is one cafeteria, one restaurant, wet areas and a conference room.

The location of the building was decided after a parametric analysis of the pedestrian flows emulating a physic system based in the woolly paths. Woolly Paths is a research started by Frei Otto and used a few years ago by Zaha Hadid. After defining the process, it was decided to build a floating structure that keeps a centered position in the inner harbour, coherently with the wolly paths.

The building is conceived as part of the urban landscape, where continuity between spaces happen without interruptions. A huge floating deck, as a public place for events, covers an area with restaurants enjoying the proximity to the sea.
