Hunter takes a break from his busy schedule to film with Red Fox in his hometown of Colorado Springs, Colorado at the scenic and majestic Garden of the Gods. With Pikes Peak as the backdrop, hear why going wire free is important to Kemper's training.
The most decorated U.S. triathlete in history, Kemper is one of only two men in the world to qualify for every Olympic triathlon (2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012) and the only man in the world to complete all four. Kemper has won seven USA Triathlon Elite National Championships. In 2005, he became the first U.S. Male triathlete to finish the season ranked number one in the world and was selected as the U.S. Olympic Committee Sportsman of the Year, joining the ranks of Olympic legends such as Michael Phelps and Michael Johnson. That year, he also received the prestigious Jim Thorpe All-Around Award. Other career highlights include earning the gold medal at the Pan Am Games (2003) and gracing the cover of a Wheaties box four times.
“I’m really impressed with Redfox and it’s great to be part of something fresh from the beginning and help the company grow,” says Kemper. “Plus, I’m always up for what’s innovative and the latest and greatest in technology.” Among his favorite Redfox products is the EDGE wireless headset. “The convenience of it for both my workouts and business dealings is amazing.” For workouts, he no longer has to fumble around with his iPhone and stow it in a plastic bag with wires running up his back. “I was running today with the EDGE––it was awesome. It doesn’t feel like you have a headset on and there are no wires to tangle you up; plus, I can control the volume and songs directly from the headset without fumbling for my music player.” Says Kemper, “Redfox is audio in motion at a high level when I train, but it’s also great for taking calls in the car and on the go. I love the hands free access and you don’t have to have your phone near you.”
