Black Diamond athlete Sonnie Trotter lives in Canada, and when the snow and rain hits the Great White North every winter, he heads south for sunny skies and crisp stone. Here is a video he shot and edited for us of his visit to the iconic domes and boulders of Joshua Tree National Park in California, where he decided to tackle a trio of mega-classic problems first done by the late, great John Bachar.
I am very proud of this send. I just recently was introduced to the world of crack climbing, so its an awesome different style of climbing and I love it. Three visits later and I send it.
Just for fun: I filmed this all by myself. So once I sent this problem i had to do the camera angles all by myself. So i pretty much climbed this 8 times. I hope you enjoy my video specifically aimed for observed beta. Its my first climbing video so yay.
