am attaching a sort of layout of things i'm working on for magic knot
I think we had talked about some of the imagery manifesting in constellations? and it's still night time (extended from Annabellee's dream)?
I know we had talked about making shapes out of the rope for the incantations. i'm not sure how the 3 images i made fits with taht.
I was also wondering about having a glowing rope as a prop, or something atht has LED weaved in?
Magic Knot song is....6min.
can we make a plan of the break down?
since it's so long, i am thinking that there is a starry sky (cont from Annabelle) and then the actions happen from "if i was a queen" (abuot 2min into song) - with ropes weaving a crown, then becoming a big pattern. as we move with rope, we see the constellation of imageries.
I want the ropes to move rythmically, but i guess since this doesn't have a click track, there won't be a steady beat... huh?

Two continuous minutes from Rude Mechs' latest original production titled Now Now Oh Now. This footage was shot at Rude Mechs' performance warehouse, The Off Center, in June 2012.
In this scene, an ornithologist (Lana Lesley) is wrapping up a lec-dem on evolutionary biology (using dioramas representing natural and sexual selection). As she pulls the tablecloth from the table, she reveals a 3-D model inset in the table. A feather with a message in it drops from the sky, and instructs the audience on how to use the model to solve their way out of that room and on to the next Act in a different but adjacent building.
