1. Yo Bloomberg – Things Go Better With Coke!

    Share This Video:

Everyone knows that New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg declared war on, among other things, sugary drink and junk food. In their infinite wisdom, Bloomberg and his administration reasoned that reducing the size of containers used to sell “sugary beverages” would help solve what they call an obesity epidemic in New York City. This “wisdom” apparently came with the responsibility to legislate change in the form of, among other things, reducing the size of “sugary beverage” containers in the city under penalty of fines, etc.

Yo, Bloomberg! Did you hear about that Swiss guy Serge Roetheli who ran around the world fueled by Coca-Cola? He ran 25,000 miles and drank over 6 tons of Coke and ate McDonalds.

If “sugary beverages” are making people fat and the average Joe is just too dumb to know what’s good for them then cut to the chase and ban forks and spoons.

New York State Supreme Court Judge Milton Tingling said that the regulations were “fraught with arbitrary and capricious consequences”. HuffPost Live legal expert Mike Sacks says this is “law-speak for too stupid to be legal.”

Unfortunately, Bloomberg isn’t the only one playing king of your temple. NYC Mayoral Candidate Bill de Blasio has sworn to keep pushing Bloomberg’s bill until it goes through.
If nothing else this proves that neither side of the political isle has a monopoly on stupidity.

Bill de Blasio’s opponent Joe Lhota has made it clear that he is against the ban and promises to withhold the NYC appeal if he becomes Mayor of New York.
    Just sayin’.

The whole state of Mississippi thought the law was stupid enough that they passed an “Anti-Bloomberg” law to keep Bloomberg’s brand of stupidity from seeping into their state. In passing the law, Governor Phil Bryant explained, “ It is simply not the role of the government to micro-regulate citizens’ dietary decisions. The responsibility for one’s personal health depends on individual choices about a proper diet and appropriate exercise.”

  2. Yo Bloomberg - I'm Lovin' It
    Share This Video:

Bloomberg hates a lot of things. Sugary beverages (except coffee) and junk food are targets in his crusade to save New Yorkers from themselves.

Ban coke? Are you kidding me, Bloomberg? Have you heard the story about Serge Roetheli from Switzerland who ran around the world drinking Coca-Cola and eating McDonalds? This guy’s maybe the world’s most accomplished endurance athlete and he ran 25,000 miles drinking over 6 tons of Coke and eating McDonalds.
    http://www.the25000milelovestory.com

‘Sugary drinks’ don’t make people fat any more than spoons and forks do, Bloomberg! We have the right to choose what we eat, how we eat, when we eat, and where we eat; at least until we decide to let people like you pass laws to control that too!

Justice Tingling said that your regulations were “fraught with arbitrary and capricious consequences” which Mike Sacks says is “law-speak for too stupid to be legal.”
    http://online.wsj.com/public/resources/documents/sodaruling0311.pdf
And still you fight for it, Bloomberg?

New Yorkers, you need to wise-up. Bloomberg’s not the end of this crazy train. Bill de Blasio is coming right out and letting you know that if you put him in office he’s going to push this through at all cost. He means at your cost because he’ll be doing it on your dime.
    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/de-blasio-bloomberg-soda-article-1.1490333 .

Joe Lhota says he will stop the stupidity and let New Yorkers keep their freedom to make their own choice.
    Just sayin’.

Yo Bloomberg, did you know that state of Mississippi thought enough about your laws to make their own law in your honor? That’s right, they call it the “Anti-Bloomberg Law” and it’s designed to make sure whatever ideology you’re trying to peddle doesn’t trickle down the their neck of the woods.

Love this guy: Governor Phil Bryant said, “ It is simply not the role of the government to micro-regulate citizens’ dietary decisions. The responsibility for one’s personal health depends on individual choices about a proper diet and appropriate exercise.”
