My assignment was to construct a video using a poem. I chose a poem about a topic that I was passionate about, since I love track, what could be better than a poem about running? Some of our requirements were to add 5 shots of dramatic lighting and a rack focus. I felt I added the rack focus in a creative way and my favorite dramatic lighting shot was the during the line "run and doesn't care where to go", there was a lens flare which took up about 70 percent of the shot. The music I chose help portray how I wanted the viewer to feel while watching the video, "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Ray Jepsen is a very up beat and happy song also it is type of music people listen to while running. The voiceover helped added humor to the video, my friend decided to do the voiceover by using a British accent, this portrayed how running is a fun activity. Some things that went well in this video I felt was the shots of dramatic lighting, but if I could do this project over again I would definitely add more creative shots.
"Got Emotion?" Project attempt was to make the audience feel scared while watching the video. My partner and I did this by shooting this free handed to shaky shot to add the the fear, chose creepy music, and shot the film at night which created a more scary movie feel. I feel the video was successful, I could tell when my class was watching it they were scared.
Stop motion of making breakfast in the morning. I was inspired to make this video for my stop motion because I almost never have enough time in the morning to make breakfast so I found the video very easy relate to. Surprisingly this video was not too difficult to make, the most difficult part of this project was the peanut butter and spreading it across the bread. I am very proud in the song choice in the video, I thought it was a very accurate for this video because sometimes everyone is too lazy to make breakfast in the morning.
