1. We were honored to welcome two experts from different fields of nutrition and well-being; Sarah Britton, a holistic nutritionist, vegetarian chef and renowned blogger and Dr. Max Timm, an internal medicine specialist who has developed a unique individualized nutrition and support concept for the comprehensive metabolic conversion and regulation.

    The two symposiums began with Sarah demonstrating how quick and easy it is to create delicious dishes from raw foods – almond milk, salsa, hummus and more. Sarah also shared some of her tips for an overall healthier lifestyle and a more complete well-being.
    Following Sarah’s demonstration, Max took the stage to discuss his general rules and guidelines for a more balanced nutrition in our daily lives, including what kind of foods and proteins to eat, when to eat them, and how to mix them up through out the

    Both Sarah and Max shared some truly eye-opening information that sparked curiosity and lead to enriching conversations.
    At the culmination of the evening, the audience sat down and enjoyed some delicious raw-food dishes prepared by Sarah.

    It was an evening of food, health and well-being, lead by two charismatic experts and shared by the audience at MADE. We would like to thank Sarah and Max, as well as everybody who came out, for being part of this inspiring experience.

  2. Here's a summary of the wonderful weekend of cooking sessions with Sarah Britton from My New Roots held in Amsterdam!

    Sarah and I have become close friends since I started Healthy Happy and she's been a great inspiration for me in many ways. When she accepted my invitation to come to Amsterdam to demonstrate both her fantastic recipes and incredible knowledge of nutrition & health I was beyond ecstatic and couldn't wait to share her with all of her fans in Amsterdam.

    In these sessions Sarah demonstrated how to make:

    1. Almond Milk
    2. Hummus using the almond bi-product from the milk
    3. Walnut Meat
    4. Sour Cream from cashew nuts
    5. Salted Caramel from the nut milk

    We also made raw tacos and salsa in which to use the walnut meat and cashew sour cream. Each of the delicious recipes are gluten & lactose free, vegan & raw - yay!

    The sessions sold out in a day! We held 5 classes across 2 days of 60 very enthusiastic participants (from Holland, UK & Germany!), who are great fans of Sarah. Our guests came in curious and left enlightened and confident in pursuing a healthier eating life. Her infectious personality and belief that leading a healthier life is not difficult, resonated through all of us. The feedback has been fantastic and we're both sincerely thrilled by the whole experience!
