A little review/overview of Yamaha's XT1200Z Super Tenere. This is a 1200cc parallel twin engine with around 110bhp so it would make a great tourer for those that want a long distance motorcycle. The seating position is perfect in terms of leg room, so there shouldn't be much in the way of aching joints or hips, but the weight is firmly on your posterior so I can't judge on the numb bum syndrome.
I only had this bike to try for no more than half an hour so I apologise if I missed any info out that you would need.
Talking through what I do when filtering through slow moving traffic and give a few bits of advice and tips to stay safer while doing it *Disclaimer* I am not a professional rider and so my advice should be viewed in the context that it is given, being that I have been riding for over 22 years and I'm not dead yet ;-)
My thoughts on buying your first 125cc motorcycle, this is aimed more at the UK than other countries, due to our restrictions on smaller bikes for learner riders. Choosing the right bike is a bit of a minefield as there are so many different makes and models on the market these days, but that old adage of "You get what you pay for!" is certainly true in this smaller capacity area.
