This is an early prototype of a game I am producing and developing called Bullet Golf. It's actually playable now, and it looks kind of pretty. It's difficult to explain the game in written words, so I made this video to explain the whole concept and it sure was easier to explain by actually doing it.
I know that video game footage is normally not allowed, but this is not a released game - I am just starting to develop it, and I am posting this as an independent artist looking for a place to show my portfolio.
We present a control method for simulated bipeds, in which both the muscle routing and control parameters are discovered through optimization. All motion is generated using 3D simulated muscles, and neural delay is included for all feedback paths. No motion capture or key frame animation was used in any of the results.
