Aaron preaches on what Empty Hands Bible Church would be and look like if we are living out the mission statement; Worship, Unity, Mission. We must grow from infancy in Christ to maturity in Christ. It's not about legalism, but discipline can help guide you towards Christ. It's a heart issue. If we worship the Lord in all that we do as a way of life, offering up our time, money, talents, and our very lives to God, He will transform us in His presence. And if we choose to be unified, putting away selfishness, gossip, and pettiness, we will show the world that God loves us and that Jesus was truly God's son (John 17). And if we are being transformed and we are unified, we will be different from the backbiting and cutthroat "me-first" attitude of the world. And God, as a church, will create a place filled with such peace, fun, and true family love that we won't be able to keep it to ourselves. We will tell everyone we meet, near and far about the good news of being a part of God's family. You just can't keep it to yourself, and you don't want to. You want to tell the world! And our mandated mission will be accomplished through the Holy Spirit when we live together as He taught, Loving God and Loving All Peoples.
Worship - Transformed in God's Presence through worship as a way of life. Aaron Scantlen preaches about what worship really is and why we need to be in God's presence by examining Moses in Exodus 33 & 34.
