THE PARTY This elaborate sky-high soiree was a night filled with awe-inspiring aircrafts, mouth-watering bites from Sun in My Belly catering and tunes from DJ Mark Battle. Aeronautic-lovers gathered for a lavish grand opening of world-renowned aircraft company Jet Linx’s debut in Atlanta. The event coincided with The Atlantan’s September Fashion Issue, so naturally Saks Fifth Avenue was on hand with models decked out in haute couture styles to celebrate the launch. THE PLAYERS Cheryl Espy, Aida Flamm, Lisa Fuller, Ken Goldwasser, Randi Layne, Doug McIntyre, Natalie Snodgrass, John Snodgrass, Todd Spangler, Jamie Walker THE SCENE Private jets, Jim Ellis Porsches and incredible ice sculptures by Ice Sculptures Inc. graced the scene of this exquisite celebration. Dassault Falcon, Embraer Executive Jets, Gulfstream and Bombardier showed off their dazzling aircrafts in a private hangar transformed into a stunning party by Event Drapery, Unique Floral Expressions and Classic Party Rentals. Glasses filled with Absolut Tune and Stella Artois clinked as guests mingled amid painters, saxophonists, hula dancers and drummers.
To celebrate the “Best of the City” January/February issue, The Atlantan hosted a release party with DiFrancesco Plastic Surgery at Pryor Fine Art to salute those featured in each category: Style, Beauty, Culture, Design and Food. Hosted by Editor-in-Chief Stephanie Davis Smith, the event brought together the city’s brightest stars in culture, fine dining, design and fashion while celebrating Atlanta’s most esteemed, creative and eclectic.
Guests enjoyed live music by Robert Ray as they sipped beverages by Purity Vodka and Stella Artois. Sun in my Belly provided delicious hors d'oeuvres for all the guests to enjoy. Sprinkles Cupcakes provided an assortment of their iconic mini cupcakes. Guests enjoyed spectacular giveaways from DiFrancesco Plastic Surgery, Purity Vodka, Old Edwards Inn and Pryor Fine Art.

JEZEBEL Magazine celebrated its 17th Anniversary at the beautiful Vanquish Lounge in midtown Atlanta with the 2013 Most Beautiful Atlantans and all the who’s who of the ATL. Jim Ellis Audi Atlanta set the scene with stunning models on site as guests arrived to Peachtree Street. Party-goers toasted the evening with Stella Artois and Grey Goose signature cocktails while noshing on light bites from Glorious Events, cocktail infused cupcakes by Happy Hour Confections and chocolate covered strawberries from Buckhead Berries. Unique Floral Expressions transformed the Vanquish tables with red roses galore, while Classic Party Rentals and Monte Carlos Productions set the stage for our main attractions, a special performance by the one and only triple platinum artist, Jason Derulo. The November cover girl, Edy Ganem of Devious Maids, was on the front row to see Jason perform and sign autographs for all her fans.
On Monday, March 10, 2014, Guild Hall hosted their annual Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Awards. The lavish cocktail party and seated dinner was held at Sotheby's, NYC.
This years honorees were: Blythe Danner for the performing arts; Philippe de Montebello for the visual arts; Barbara Walters for literary and media arts and Jo Carole and Ronald S. Lauder for a special award for leadership and philanthropic endeavors.
Guild Hall board president Alec Baldwin was the evening's MC and presenters included Alan Alda and Bob Balaban. Other attendees of the event included Marlo Thomas and Phil Donahue, Chuck Close, and Hilaria Baldwin.
The event's leading sponsor was BankUnited and co-sponsors were Crozier Art Movers and event designer Ovando. Mackenzie-Childs and Ceci-Cela Patisserie NYC were additional gift sponsors.
Guild Hall is a cultural institution in East Hampton, featuring performing arts on the grand theater stage and art exhibits in the exhibition halls. It is a host of the Hamptons International Film Festival and it also conducts educational series, events and shows all through the year and particularly during the summer months.
Ryan Seacrest served as an emcee to the black tie dinner with an exclusive performance from artist Gavin DeGraw at the Georgia Aquarium. Proceeds will support the operations of two Ronald McDonald Houses. Video shot and edited by Parin Sarasin.
