Mira Couture hosted its second annual Bridal Tea and Fashion Show at the iconic Drake Hotel’s Palm Court. Guests enjoyed traditional afternoon tea, finger sandwiches, and specialty cocktails alongside a strolling fashion show. The show featured this season’s wedding collections by designers ESTER Haute Couture, Flora Chicago, Yumi Katsura-Couture and Atelier Pronovias, as well as mother of the bride fashions, cocktail and evening wear, and gowns exclusively designed in house at Mira Couture.
More than 250 stylish and affluent South Florida brides and grooms-to-be and VIPs of Miami’s wedding industry came together for an unforgettable evening. This glamorous soiree paid homage to the ultimate wedding planning experience. The evening consists of a cocktail reception, delicious catering and custom cocktails, inspired vignettes from leading wedding planners and event companies, beauty and pampering for brides and grooms, a fashion presentation and other creative activations.
Brides and other special guests were given an exclusive look into Belle Vie Bridal Couture’s haute couture collection at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago’s newly transformed courtyard. The luxurious evening began with hors d'oeuvres, rosé champagne sips, and a violin show by Cagen Music’s CoverGirls. The evening proceeded with a runway show, as guests floated through Belle Vie’s array of mysterious, seducing, and opulent vignettes. Models arrived in Perillo Rolls Royce Chicago's luxury cars, highlighting the divine elegance and classic grace of the collection throughout the four acts of the show. Belle Vie’s founder & president, Amanda Bonnell, concluded the evening with a speech thanking her family, friends, event sponsors, and executive team for a successful show.
Over 200 bridal industry insiders came out to the Viceroy Hotel to celebrate the release of Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago's spring/summer 2018 edition. The festivities were held on the 5th floor where guests mixed and mingled while sipping rosé and enjoying bites by Boka Restaurant Group. Guests enjoyed wedding themed party rooms, including “Let Them Eat Cake” where attendees were given a full experience of the issue’s featured cakes by CAKE Chicago, Amy Beck Cake Design, Bittersweet Pastry Shop, and Vanille Patisserie. The second room, “Rosé All Day” room welcomed guests by a champagne aerialist pouring Mionetto rosé, a photo opportunity by Instant Party Photo Booth with a beautiful floral backdrop wall by Yanni Design Studio and delicious sweet treats. Élan Artists livened up the event with DJ Sye playing a set for the first half of the evening and then finishing off with a 9 piece live performance by The District for the grand finale.
