One that looks at the sub-culture of bicycles in the context of public space in an urban environment.They hold the key to reductions in traffic congestion, pollution and fuel consumption. Yet, their resurrection as a vehicle of choice to a few remains the scourge of many. Mass riding as shown in this video isn't a protest and should never be viewed that way. Rather, it is an expression of the kind of possibilities that could make urban communities more livable and life on this planet more sustainable.

  3. The Tour de Disaster was designed to demonstrate the important role that bicycles can play in an emergency response. After an earthquake, cyclists may be able to access roads, pathways and bridges that vehicles can't, to help move people, information and materials from one location to another.
