EXPIRAVIT, The Good Friday Passion Play at the Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy of Jasna Gora, Penrose Park - just off the Hume Highway one hour south of Sydney - draws thousands of devoted pilgrims every year.
Now, for the first time, this famous Australian re-enactment of the most dramatic moment in the history of the world has been captured on film.
Featuring the heart-wrenching acting of Nathaniel Tedesco as Jesus, alongside many of the best young Catholic artists in Australia, this film will once again bring the Passion of Our Lord to life for you and your family.
As one young woman who was involved in this year's production said "Being at Penrose park, there is no need to meditate or imagine, but simply to contemplate the drama of Our Lord's passion unfold before your eyes."
NOTICE: Some sections of the play contains poor quality sound and reverb

30 years ago, a Polish Hermit arrived in Australia with little English, less money and nowhere to stay.
His dream was to build a shrine dedicated to Our Lady. Today, the two shrines he started in New South Wales and Queensland are bustling centres of devotion, pilgrimage and conversion.
This Ex Corde film tells the story of how the shrines started by Fr Augustine OSPPE (Order of St. Paul the First Hermit) began to take a life of their own.
It includes exclusive historical photos, personal interviews with many of the larger-than-life brothers and priests of the order, explains in a practical way the theology of Marian devotion, shrines and pilgrimage, and includes footage of many of the great Feast Days, ordinations, and other events of recent times.
After two years of production, this unique film - the latest to be produced by Ex Corde Pictures - is sure to resonate with the spiritual, religious, spiritual but not religious - and everything in between!
