For the last three years, the South Australian Museum has been creating videos to send out in place of printed Christmas cards.
The idea behind this year's video is to show that the Museum is a gift to the people; the collections we hold, and the research we conduct is all for the benefit of the community.
This simple concept was difficult to capture, but we worked with Sam Collins Media (http://samcollinsmedia.com/) to refine and execute the idea.
We're very pleased with the end result - we hope you like it too!
What do you love about the South Australian Museum? 'I Know A Place' explores those concepts that connect visitors with the Museum, to evoke a sense of wonder and nostalgia.
The South Australian Museum wishes you a safe and happy holiday season and we look forward to welcoming you back through our doors in 2012.
Happy Holidays was directed by Marco Chicchianni from Cul-de-sac with Adelaide-based photographer Randy Larcombe.
