  2. We created the soundtrack for a video ad that's featured in the new Nike Women Spring 09 “Be Transformed” campaign in the Asia Pacific region -- Nike Women’s largest integrated campaign to date. The campaign celebrates the transformation of women determined to drive their revolution through sport, becoming stronger and more confident.

    Our sound is set to "Punchbag", an advertisement featuring beach volleyball star Sonia Kong battling a punching-bag-turned-Anime-monster.

    "Be Transformed" was created by AKQA (http://akqa.com) and will be distributed throughout Asia Pacific in cinema, TV, digital (mobile and website), print, out-of-home and in-store.

    For those of you who know our music, you'll recognize the (skeleton of the) track "Guilty" from our debut album, "Straight Talk On Raising Kids," slightly modified for the ad. The ads star Dwyane Wade, one of the most charismatic players in the NBA and the centerpiece of the Miami Heat. “Dominate Another Day” aimed to capture the 007-like duality of D. Wade’s identity. Off-court, he’s one of the most urbane personalities in pop culture; in game, however, Wade is a relentless force of nature who knows no obstacles.

    Throughout the campaign, Wade plays “Agent D3,” a special agent tasked on an ambitious mission to bring the elusive championship rings to Miami. With the help of his quartermaster, H (played by Kevin Hart), D3 faces danger head-on as he battles opposing organizations seeking the same prize.

    Tess Dunn is a 17-year old singer-songwriter phenom who hails from Santa Cruz, California. Tess’ raspy vocals, mature piano compositions and alternative sound transcend her years. Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF), an incurable life-threatening disease which causes progressive lung damage, as well as epilepsy and diabetes, Tess faces issues of mortality that infuse her music and lyrics with radiant richness and haunting depth.
    Tess says living with CF is “…almost like having a clock ticking over your head, but it has a way of putting things in perspective.” She “finds a certain beauty in the randomness of life,” and her music explores issues of love, trust and relationships. An affecting advocate for anyone battling the challenges of a chronic disease, Tess encourages others due to her take no prisoners zest for life.
