"Low Down" by Kinfoke
Directed and edited by @micxsic
I had the pleasure of directing Kinfoke’s visual debut. Collin Gibson & Strap (cousins) are both solo artists with two unique and totally different styles but their contrast in sound over soulful chevy ready southern beats blend well and make for a good listen. They’re music is really refreshing.
Video backstory: We shot it Guerilla style around 1 a.m in an Atlanta parking deck. I really had no idea what i was in for. As expected the lot was empty i didnt have much to work with as far as scenery or lighting. The homie Panic really came through in the clutch by bringing out the Camero and the girl you see in the video. The orange whip made for a nice contrast to the dark colors of Kinfoke’s wardrobe and the grey backdrop of the parking lot. Shorty was hella coo and she was easy to work with taking direction really well even though she didnt know any of the lyrics. My favorite part of this video was filming the shots of them in front of the Camaro using a crane and a low angle to get the flare effect from the headlights.

We Have to Thank Lupe, Chilly and Atlantic Records for the wonderful Opportunities to work with a wonderful artist.
