  2. This discussion programme came about
as part of a four-class media literacy
course facilitated by DCTV and funded by
    Dublin Community Forum. Through
    both classroom sessions and practical
    studio workshops the participants were
    brought through the various ways
media works, both mainstream and our
model of community media. This programme
was driven by the participants and
took place on Wednesday, 9th June 2010.

  5. The All We Want To Say research project was a national survey carried out by researchers working with the National Institute for Intellectual Disabilities. As phase two of the project, researchers wanted to turn their findings into a tool for advocacy and change. To this end, the NIID established a partnership with DCTV to film presentations and develop a DVD educational tool. The methodology used to produce the video mirrored that of the research stage, with participants themselves playing a key role in the edit stage.
