  3. Mustaqbil Pakistan organized a seminar in Lahore on 7 December 2013. The title of the seminar was Alternate Economics - Building the future of Pakistan. The idea of the seminar was to discuss possible new approaches to organizing the Pakistani economy. This discussion is important now because the existing economic structure is crumbling leading to widespread misery manifested in unemployment and runaway inflation. The keynote speaker was Dr. Asad Zaman Professor of Economics at IIU in Islamabad. This video is of MP's Chairman Nadeem Mumtaz Qureshi delivering the closing remarks at the seminar. Speaking mainly in Urdu he explains the reasons for holding the seminar. He says this is the first in a series of seminars which will explore alternative approaches to running the country. The next seminar scheduled for February 2014 will be entitled Alternative Justice. And subsequent seminars will take up Education and Health.
