Pádraigín Drinan sits down with us to talk about her lifelong work as a civil rights solicitor. She began working in the early 1970s with the Association for Legal Justice on cases relating to internment without trial and throughout her career she continued to work with prisoners, women's organisations, nationalist residents groups and ethnic minority communities until she retired at the end of 2013.

Pádraigín speaks clearly on the need for civil rights solicitors, “There will always be a need, unfortunately. The state will always try to overstep the line.”
