A Network ID concept for SyFy as part of my Multiplatform Media Brand Packaging MOME 408 class at SCAD. This is a particular instance where I spent considerable time developing the visual style through design frames before jumping into animation within AE.
Another experimentation--- I branched out a bit more with my use of lights in After Effects, and although it stops abruptly, I count it as a success simply because it gave me more experience with the tools and techniques of the trade.
My final project for my Motion Tech 1 class-- we had to utilize green screen footage in some way, so I decided to composite a basic walk cycle on top of some other footage with a few extra items added into the mix to make it a bit more interesting.
I would have loved to create these 3D shapes with Cinema 4D, but I didn't have the knowledge or the time, so this entire project was built and animated in After Effects.
While this project is full of little quirks and glitches, it was a great excercise to learn the ins & outs of 3D camera tracking as well as some new greenscreen techniques.
