1. Rome: in the heart of a working class neighborhood, inhabited by a growing number of immigrant families, 30 women from 11 nationalities are preparing a theatre show based on Aristofane’s “Lysistrata”. To prevent men of being always at war, Lysistrata organizes the strike of sex. Playing with a parallel between six women characters' lives and the setting up of the show, the film tends to answer a question: are women able to find female weapons and alternative thoughts in order to end conflict, to promote peace, to bring warmth within their families and society?
