Split Magazine (http://split-magazine.com) presents an exclusive interview with Motherjane about their album 'Maktub', being adjudged Asia's number one rock band, future plans, concepts behind their new facial artwork, plus a sneak peek at the band getting their faces painted before a concert.
The video was recorded on December 12, 2009, before the band took the stage at Symbiosis Infotech College in Pune.
“Vaasta Tera Mera” is the lead single from Da-Saz’s debut album ‘Jet Lag’. The video for this song was shot in Pushkar, Rajasthan, during the camel fair. Some parts of the video were filmed in Kashmir as well.
Da-Saz is a musical collective formed in 1999 in New Delhi by Lionel Dentan and Suchet Malhotra (formerly of Envision). They describe their music as an “eclectic combination of sufi, Punjabi folk and poetic lyricism interlaced with electronic beats and harmony”.
